Mature Love

Wow, what a non-productive slump I have been in lately. When we realized that Phyllis was not going to recover from cancer, I purchased a book called "90 Minutes in Heaven". A very reassuring book written by a Pastor who was in an automobile accident and pronounced dead at the scene. The title tells the main theme of his account of those events. Anyway, it was extremely calming and I thought that I would not get depressed when Phyllis left for New York to die at home. Dah. . .Eventhough, I am totally positive that she is experiencing all that is wonderful and spiritual; I was grieving for myself. My loss. My aloneness. Regardless of my own self-pity, anyone who has a friend or family member who has recently endured the death of a loved one; I highly recommend this book. Enuf said.
